The purpose of this net is to handle message traffic as part of the ARRL National Traffic System. In addition this net exists to provide the opportunity for all amateur radio operators to make contacts to earn various awards including those sponsored by this net.

This net maintains a website at North American Traffic and Awards Dot Net (all words spelled out) where you can find out about the net and our FREE awards program.

This is _____ (your call). Do we any stations with emergency, priority, or time-sensitive traffic? (pause to listen)

Stations with routine traffic for the net please give your callsign only at this time. (Continue to take traffic listings as long as necessary and then direct stations to make contact and move off frequency to pass traffic).
