NATA announces the availability of a new series of awards based
upon number of stations worked. This series of awards will be
known as the "Worked..." Series. These awards are designed to
recognize making contacts with stations on NATA nets. These
awards require that all contacts be made from NATA Nets or
pre-approved NATA activities outside of nets. At this time
there are no approved activities scheduled however this is
subject to change based upon recommendations or requests by
NATA participants.

The Worked Series awards are based upon achieving specific numbers
of contacts on NATA Nets. Credits for these awards are retroactive
to January 1, 2009 (the first date NATA returned to the air).
These are the ONLY awards where contact credit is retroactive
to a date prior to the date the awards are released.

The awards are issued at 13, 39, 78, 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000,
and 2000 contact levels. Endorsements for each additional
thousand will be available. These awards may also be endorsed
by band, state(s), and/or mode. Operators achieving the 2000
level will be invited to join the NATA Advisory Board.

The NATA Dirty Dozen Award is being included in this series and
that award's requirements are now revised to reflect the
requirement that all contacts be made on NATA nets. Any DDA
issued prior to November 15, 2010, need not be re-earned. The
DDA Award is now considered the "entry level" award for NATA.

Award design is being finalized and will be unveiled on Thanksgiving
Day, 2010.
